like i wrote in another thread, defeating in terms of shipkills, region control and morally is something totally different then to get an alliance to give up and remove themself from the map (the only way someone is beaten).
While i have no doubt about the tons of kills and destruction an invasion will bring, i see FA most likely fall back to the same set of strategies currently employed by PA or which were used against m0o/fe/Ca. In which case the existance of FA lives and dies with the "threat level 1" corps and their involvement and dedication in this war.

I dont think his "fa judgement" is too far off, i disagree on some numbers beeing to low and some of the newer corps missing.
Regardless we can agree that if there is a ranking EVEM / 4S / Finfleet will be topnotch, covering their experience and history.
How big the gasp between 5 and 1 might be qualitywise could be discussed lengthy and is quiet moot since we will never find a consens about it.
The point about Xanadu, a corp i very much respect and still call my friends however stands, eventho this isnt part or the main subject of this thread. Xan lost some firepower and might have recovered but i would personally not see them on par with their "old time" quality. This doesnt involve any personal feelings, any "its because my m8s arent there" simply from what i know and what my view is (might be wrong, you know where to find me if u wish to update me and point out where im wrong).
While i personally think this thread is too detailed and leaves alot potential for endless Yes/no/yes/no discussions i agree with the basic saying that whatever will happen, fa will survive (in my view) and might even lose some fat like in the old m0o/fe days.
Furthermore i hope that ccp realises that maybe post shiva some changes should be made to make fighting not a matter of "who gets bored first" to decide who wins a region or who loses it, i think that is something you can agree with me on. Considering our experiences in cache or other remote regions which were "disputed" while the owner just claimed it on the map.

now 1 good pilot wouldnt make a difference in an evaluation if we include fleetbattles, 2o2, 3o3 etc etc would he ?
If he would, homoerectus or twd would defeat fa all by themself :)

I honestly dont know what you guys split hair about now, if the ranking should be "1-10 points" or "1-5" or "1-1000" to determine the different qualities of corps within the fa ?
Regardless of my own views on this topic i think we can all agree that every alliance is not just a coherant group equally skilled players.
So no matter how you look at the topic you will have a quality ranking.
Now adding my own opinion i doubtlessly can say that i agree with the majority of stans rankings, no matter what values you apply, its out of question 4s, finfleet and evem are ontop of the rest. How big the difference between them and the rest is is up for discussion and i think everyone has more faccetts in his view then just 1-5.
As for the topic of Xanadu, while i agree with hir0 its not a point of discussion really i can say that i wouldnt rate them as high as i would have rated them back in august, which will be my final judgement and statement on my ex corp.
